60IN60 Day 17 - Wed Sept 23

It's Day 17 and we're in Genesis 6.

Note that we skipped chapter 5.  It's mostly genealogical information.

Where God Spoke To Me:
- Nothing really jumped out to me.  Genesis has been a struggle for me in that way.

Help:
- Verses 1-4 - The nature of the Nephilim is fairly obscure.  Some take it to be a reference to angels in human form; others take it to be a group of particularly strong and large people.

- "In listing the descendants of Cain........where did Cain's wife come from?  Was she a child of Adam and Eve?" - Yes, which is a little gross, but throughout Genesis we see a lot of relationships like this as the "people groups" are still pretty small.
