Where God Spoke To Me:- Verse 3 - Sometimes we're out on a limb for Him, trusting that He's going to come through. He will not let us down.

- "I wonder looking at the 'tongues' and the places referenced, there are different languages in different areas. Is it possible that tongues is a reference to different languages? And there are different religions, but often similarities. Are the differences misunderstandings in the then understanding. God was over the world. Just a thinking point." - The "tongues" mentioned in Acts were in fact various known languages. The miraculous thing was that the disciples were able to speak languages they didn't know through the power of the Holy Spirit so that each person there could hear the gospel in their native tongue. With regard to the different religions, there were likely people from a variety of religions there, but the message preached by the disciples (with the Holy Spirit's miraculous help) pointed all those people to the truth of what Jesus had done.
