It's Day 34 and we're in Matthew 27.
Where God Spoke To Me:- Verse 6 - It's sad to me that the religious leaders were so careful to not violate their rules while they were in the process of betraying the Savior. We can miss the big picture so easily.
Help:
- Verses 12, 14 - "no reply" - Why? Because I think the case against Him was so shallow and weak that He could have easily refuted their arguments.
- Verse 52 - This is an incredible detail not to be overlooked: the miracles that accompanied Jesus' death.

Your Questions and Comments:
- "In Matthew 24:20 the NIV scripture states, Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. What is the significance of Jesus telling us to pray that this does not occur in Winter or on the Sabbath?" - It most likely points to practical concerns. The overall passage is discussing the trials and problems that will come along with these end times events. As those mentioned in the passage are fleeing, it's already a horrible situation with the Antichrist in charge. In that dire circumstance, you don't need additional problems, like dealing with bad weather during the winter or with the Jews around Palestine who might try to stone you for traveling on the Sabbath day. You don't need extra trouble when things are already so bad.
