60IN60 Day 20 - Sat Mar 26

It's Day 20 and we're in Acts 4.

Where God Spoke To Me:
- Verse 14 - The hard-headness is amazing.  They have no reply and know something amazing has happened (verses 15-18), but yet they are so tied to their position and their power that they won't consider changing.

Your Questions:
- "This is something that I have struggled with over the years.  After Peter was speaking to the crowd he says in verse 21 the "all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved".  Is this talking only in the last days, or for all time?" - I think the offer is open to all people: when we ask God for salvation, He will meet us there.  The prophecy that Peter is quoting  in verses 16-21 is being fulfilled right there in Acts.  I think it is essential to understand what "call on the name of the Lord" means.  It means those who call on God through Jesus.  It means those who believe and follow Jesus.  Obviously, the Pharisees were praying, but their prayers weren't being heard because they had rejected Jesus.
